Burlington, Oakville companies recognized for ‘business excellence’

A Burlington marketing company and Oakville company in connected transportation solutions have both been named recipients of a Canadian Business Excellence Award.

Jan Kelley Marketing and Geotab Inc. are among the 26 organizations set to be honoured at the 2024 Canadian Business Excellence Awards for Private Businesses on Monday, October 28 in Toronto.

The annual awards recognize outstanding achievements by organizations in the private sector across Canada.

“(The) 26 Canadian organizations will be receiving the Canadian Businesses Excellence Awards for clearly demonstrating a strategic approach to successfully improving business performance and achieving goals, with a focus on the following three key performance areas: Delighted Customers; Engaged Employees; and Innovation,” said Excellence Canada in a release.

Geotab helps securely connect commercial vehicles to the internet and provides advanced web-based analytics to better manage their client’s fleet.

“Geotab’s open platform and marketplace, offering hundreds of third-party solution options, allows both small and large businesses to automate operations by integrating vehicle data with a company’s other data assets,” the Oakville company said on its website.

The eighth annual Canadian Business Excellence Awards will be held at the Delta Toronto.
