Tequila seems to be the liquor of choice for a man wanted in connection with several thefts at an Oakville liquor store.

The latest incident, say Halton Regional Police, took place at around 1:30 p.m. on April 17, 2024, at the LCBO store located at 1011 Upper Middle Road.

“The male has been seen at the same store several time,” says Halton Regional Police.

Every time the male is alleged to have selected bottles of tequila that he then proceeds to hide bottles of liquor in his pants. The man then purchases a can of beer but leaves the store without paying for the hidden bottles of liquor.

The man is described as a white male, between 50 to 60 years of age, and is five-foot-eight with a thin build. He has grey hair, brown eyes and a goatee.

Anyone with information on this case or knows the identity of this man is asked to call Halton Regional Police at 905-825-4747.
