Tex-Mex chain is opening its fourth location in Milton

A well-known Tex-Mex chain with over 450 locations across Canada is opening another restaurant in Milton, adding to the existing locations in the area.

BarBurrito, which has been expanding rapidly since its first Toronto location in 2005, is now opening its fourth store at a plaza near 1025 Bronte St South next to an LCBO.

The restaurant’s diverse menu includes bowls, burritos, quesadillas, and tacos. There are many toppings to choose from. Some options are corn, rice, lettuce, cheese, beans, jalapenos, and more.

Customers can also select from various protein options, such as crunchy fish, jerk chicken, barbacoa, and pulled pork, as well as vegetarian options like falafel and veggie ground.

The menu also allows for customizable portion sizes to suit different appetites.

Sides and extras include freshly made guacamole and classic chips and salsa.

Suppose you’re looking to finish off your meal with something sweet. In that case, Barburrito offers a selection of desserts including churros—crispy fried dough pastries rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a side of chocolate or caramel sauce—and cinnamon chips, which are crispy tortilla chips dusted with cinnamon and sugar.

Although signage has been set up outside the storefront, a grand opening date has yet to be announced. In the meantime, If you’re looking to grab a bite at BarBurrito, nearby locations include:

  • 604 Santa Maria Blvd, Milton. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  •  20 Market Dr., Unit 5 (Milton Market.) The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • 9030 Louis St. Laurent Ave (Building C). The restaurant is open Monday through Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., Thursday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
