A project to upgrade Trafalgar Road north of Halton Hills will affect drivers all summer long.

As part of the annual road resurfacing project to maintain and extend the life cycle of its roadways Halton Region is about to begin work on Trafalgar Road (Reg. Rd. 3) from Hwy. 7 to 32 Side Road, between Georgetown and Ballinafad.

Some of the things crews will be taking care of are:

  • Road repairs and resurfacing
  • Guiderail replacements
  • New pavement markings
  • Minor ditch regrading and culvert cleanouts
  • Improved signage

The contractor for this project is Four Seasons Site Development Ltd. with contract administration by Chisholm, Fleming and Associates.

Wherever possible, the Region will let local residents know about work that will affect things like driveway access, mail delivery, waste collection, night or weekend work, noise and traffic delays.

Local residents are asked to locate, disconnect and remove any sprinkler heads within the public road allowance.
