Canadians love vacationing in Latin America according to figures from the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but Oakville residents don’t have to pack a bag and board a plane to enjoy some of that festive Latin spirit.

After a freak storm cut short lest year’s celebration, the Oakville Latino Festival is returning to Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park this July 26 to July 28.

The spicy celebration returns for a third year and organizers promise to project that Latin spirit to make festival goers feel like “they are in a true Latin Party.”

Over 7,000 people per day are expected to visit the festival, which features the involvement of over 100 businesses. There will be numerous vendors, performers, exhibitors, artisans, and a kid zone will be set up for children to play.

“We will seek to create a unique experience for the whole family from the gastronomic point of view, through dance, music and art exhibitions that allow us to explore all the richness of Latin American culture explained to any Canadian public as a sample of multiculturalism,” reads the event’s website.

Admission to the festival is free. Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park is located at 2340 Ontario Street.
